Aloha!
I am Cynthia Buckles.
I have loved photography since my dad put a polaroid camera in my hand on my 5th birthday. I enjoyed visiting the dark room at the newspaper in my home town of Fairbanks, Alaska and watching the creative process. And have enjoyed the switch over to digital photography and all the creative magic Photoshop and Lightroom allow.
At the University of Alaska and the University of Hawaii I learned to further explore my creative passions.
I love to create and believe when we strive for perfection in any area of our lives- that can be a work of art. Everyone has a young artist inside of them and can enjoy the process of creating, and improve with practice over time. I love entertaining children with face painting and celebrating special occasions in life with the meditative and loving tradition of Henna.
